The rules that govern a Shiftpack booking — written plainly, nothing hidden.
Quotes and prices
Every move is priced as a base fare plus Ksh 100 per km outside Nairobi, shown on this site and confirmed in writing before you pay. The written quote is what you pay — unless the inventory or access described to us changes materially (extra rooms, undisclosed stairs, a second drop-off).
Booking and deposit
A booking is confirmed when the deposit is paid by M-Pesa against your booking reference. The deposit amount is stated on your written quote before you pay anything.
Cancellation
Contact us as early as possible with your booking reference and we will reschedule or cancel your move. The cancellation and refund terms attached to your written quote apply.
Your responsibilities
- Describe your inventory and access honestly — it sets the crew, truck and price.
- Secure valuables (cash, jewellery, documents) and carry them yourself.
- Ensure the truck can park within reasonable distance at both ends, or tell us it can't.
Our responsibilities
- Arrive within the agreed window and complete the move with reasonable care.
- Protect furniture in transit with blankets, straps and sensible loading.
- Goods-in-transit cover applies where purchased — the cover is stated on your written quote.
Liability and claims
Report any damage or loss to us within 48 hours of delivery, quoting your booking reference. Claims are assessed against the inventory and cover stated on your written quote.
